Biography/Details:
Dr. Angela D’Amour is dean of students at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ where she has served for the past 19 years. As dean, Angela manages professional staff in the Campus Life and Intercultural Programs offices, she oversees Student Conduct, First Year Programs, Student Organizations and Leadership Development, as well as leading Student Life Division assessment efforts. Before ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½, she spent three years working at Dartmouth College as a community director and assistant dean of first year students. She meets regularly with students and enjoys helping them understand and develop their strengths and talents for the glory of God. Angela earned a Ph.D. in Education from the University of California Santa Barbara, a M.Ed. in Higher Education and College Student Development from the University of Vermont, and a B.S. in Psychology from ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½. Angela grew up in the Boston area and feels at home on both the east and west coasts. She is an avid reader, a fitness nut, and a club soccer coach. She and her husband have a teenage son and daughter and they enjoy backpacking, good movies, and visiting family members around the country.
