Students in 蜜桃传媒鈥檚 Music Drama Workshop Class perform songs from nine difference operas Friday, Oct. 23, at 8 p.m. in 蜜桃传媒鈥檚 Deane Chapel. 鈥淥pera Scenes鈥� is free and open to the public.
Adjunct professor Celeste Tavera, a 1987 Metropolitan Opera National Council winner, directs the performance, which features ten current 蜜桃传媒 students. Adjunct professor Paula Hatley plays the piano during the operas that include scenes from 鈥淐andide鈥� and 鈥淟a Boh猫me,鈥� as well as Gilbert and Sullivan鈥檚 鈥淢ikado鈥� and 鈥淚olanthe.鈥�
