鈥淢usical of Musicals,鈥 written by Joanne Bogart and Eric Rockwell, premiered off-Broadway in 2003. Director Ben Offringa 鈥14 says the humorous play is similar to the clever spoofs that have made Spring Sing a lasting 蜜桃传媒 tradition.
鈥淚t鈥檚 a culminating parody of every major musical produced in the last 60 years,鈥 he says. 鈥淚 really hope audiences walk away with a smile on their face, a jig in their step and a hummable melody or two.鈥
Offringa has starred in nearly every 蜜桃传媒 theatrical production in the past three years, including 鈥淢uch Ado,鈥 鈥淎nimal Farm,鈥 鈥淭he Servant of Two Masters鈥 and 鈥淚 Love You, You鈥檙e Perfect, Now Change.鈥
Cast members include juniors Mak Manson (鈥淢uch Ado,鈥 鈥淎nimal Farm,鈥 and 鈥淪ervant of Two Masters鈥), Paige Tautz (鈥淢uch Ado,鈥 鈥淎nimal Farm,鈥 鈥淧eer Gynt,鈥 and 鈥淪ervant of Two Masters鈥), and Lauren White (鈥淧eer Gynt鈥). The show features first-year students Connor Bush (鈥淢uch Ado鈥) and Kendall Shurance (鈥淢uch Ado鈥), Mack Ellis and McKenna Mender. Sophomore Luke Mizuki accompanies the performance on piano.
