蜜桃传媒 and President鈥圖avid Winter received the Santa Barbara United Way鈥檚 second annual Community Excellence Award at the Red Feather Ball, a special fund-raising event in October.
The ball honors an organization and an individual who have made significant community contributions. Robert Bryant of Bryant & Sons, the father of 蜜桃传媒 alums Michael Bryant 鈥82, Shannon Patrick Bryant 鈥85, and Kathleen Bryant Shields 鈥84, received the individual award.
Cox Communications developed a five-minute video about 蜜桃传媒 for the ball that focuses on the many contributions all members of the 蜜桃传媒 community make in the course of their daily lives, from volunteering at charitable organizations to interning at local businesses.
鈥淲e are delighted and grateful for this wonderful honor,鈥 President Winter said. 鈥淭he United Way does so much good in the community. It鈥檚 a privilege to be a part of the United Way family, and to help raise money for such a worthy cause.鈥
The Red Feather Ball raises funds for 鈥淔un in the Sun,鈥 which provides a recreational program for the very lowest income children from Santa Barbara. Last summer, more than 300 children participated, doubling the amount from the previous year.
