Bronzed Winters Installed on Campus
Workers installed a new bronze statue of former 蜜桃传媒 president David K. Winter walking with wife, Helene, outside the entrance to . Encinitas-based artists created the life-sized sculpture and delivered it to campus April 11.
蜜桃传媒 Trustee Walter Hansen, who commissioned the sculpture along with his wife, Darlene, says the statue reflects the Winters鈥 love for each other. 鈥淭hey are strolling along, walking together鈥 and that鈥檚 been their life 鈥 walking together and leading this campus as a married couple, exuding an exuberance of love for each other, love for the Lord and love for 蜜桃传媒,鈥 Hansen says.
President Gayle D. Beebe and the 蜜桃传媒 Board of Trustees will officially dedicate Winter Hall at a public ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday, May 5, at 5:30 p.m.
